ORGANIZATION - Animal Control
 

The LaGrange Police Department’s Animal Control section is made up of three members. Animal Control falls under the responsibility of the Patrol Division’s Deputy Commander. Their responsibilities include maintaining the local Animal Shelter as well as for the care of the animals that are brought into the shelter. Additionally, they are respond to citizen complaints regarding animals running at large, dog bites, etc… Animal Control recently moved into a new facility on Orchard Hill Road and work hand in hand with the LaGrange-Troup Humane Society to find adequate housing for all of the animals that are brought into the shelter.
